Ryusen Weeping Japanese Maple is a small weeping deciduous tree with dramatic branches that shoot straight up before cascading down creating a narrow waterfall of foliage.  It displays deeply palmate dark green leaves that emerge chartreuse and then becomes shades of bright reds and deep oranges in fall.  The flowers are inconspicuous.  Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Prefers full sun in cooler climates, but needs afternoon shade in southern areas.
