Chinook Hops is a vigorous twining deciduous vine with serrated dark green leaves and hops that are used in beer.  The fragrant green female flowers bloom in cone-like structures that mature in late summer to early fall and are followed by aromatic hops.  Chinook is a bittering variety that is citrusy with notes of spice and pine.  Grows best with rich, moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established. Needs both male and female plants to produce seed. Chinook is resistant to verticillium wilt and downy mildew.
