The Department of Homeland Security has included landscape professionals as part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce:
“Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, builders, contractors, HVAC Technicians, landscapers, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences, businesses and buildings such as hospitals, senior living facilities, any temporary construction required to support COVID-19 response.”
We are taking the following steps to ensure safe plant delivery:
- All plants will be handled with gloves when loading, unloading, and delivering.
- ServeScape employees will maintain a minimum 6-foot separation between any person, including: colleagues, customers, and general public.
What does this mean for you?
Plants will be delivered in the following manner:
1). ServeScape employees will transport delivery to the designated drop off location.
2). ServeScape employees will drop off order at designated location, using gloves to transport plants and ensuring minimum 6-foot separation between employee and customer (if present).
3). ServeScape employees will notify customer of confirmed delivery with photo confirmation.
