Red Cutlace Japanese Maple is a dwarf deciduous tree with a graceful weeping habit and dark red, finely cut leaves that change to beautiful shades of gold and crimson in the fall. An excellent accent under larger trees, near a water garden or in container. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Prefers full sun in cooler climates, but needs afternoon shade in southern areas.
