G.G Gerbing’ is a larger re-blooming evergreen shrub with a more upright habit and can be leggy ( typical clearance of 1 foot).  It’s large pure white flowers grow up to 3 inches wide and bloom starting in mid-spring and will experience light new blooms throughout until fall. Evergreen azaleas are not very cold hardy; cold winters may freeze the flower buds and reduce bloom come spring, and leaves may experience winter burn.  ‘G.G Gerbing’ is capable of taking more shade than most azaleas.  A very versatile plant that prefers partial sun with acidic rich, well-drained soils.  Azaleas are excellent pollination and butterfly attractors.
