Pennsylvania Sedge is a native shade-loving semi-evergreen grass with whispy grass-like foliage that is glossy deep green.  Small feathery white staminate spikelets with dark purple scales go up in early spring.  Prefers partial sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
