A fast grower that may flop if becomes to tall and take root- it spreads easy so it is best planted in a container.  Grows best in full sun  with moist to standing water and rich soils.  Will die back if exposed to frost.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Has high moisture need if not planted in 1-6 inches of standing water, do not let dry out.  Taller stalks may need staking to prevent flopping and rooting.  Remove any trimmings to contain spreading.  Occasional pest problems.  Take container inside during winter months to avoid frost if needed.
