Lavender+Eye Dianthus is a compact mat-forming evergreen  perennial with dark green foliage and hairy stems. Fragrant double soft lavender-pink flowers with red eyes and frilled edges bloom first in late spring into summer, and again in fall if deadheaded.  Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
