 Firewitch Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with deep blue foliage and hairy stems.  The magenta-pink flowers have a spicy clove fragrance and bloom first in spring and can continue to intermediately bloom through fall if deadheaded.  Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
