Fortune's Hardy Holly Fern is an upright evergreen fern with stiff stems and leathery dull green fronds resembling holly-like leaflets.  It thrives in shade and slightly acidic, moist, and well-drained soil.  Holly Ferns have better heat tolerance than many other ferns.
