Baltica English Ivy, Common Ivy
Baltica English Ivy is a fast-spreading woody evergreen vine that can climb or trail to moderate distances. The Juvenal stage is more adventurous and will attach to anything it reaches. The glossy lobed foliage is dark green with white veins and tints purple in winter. Grows best with some shade and moist, well-drained soil.
NOTE: Very aggressive spreader that is listed as invasive in Georgia.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Potential pests include aphids, mealybugs, caterpillars, loopers, and scale. Mites can cause significant problems if not treated. Watch for leaf spots, canker, bacterial leaf spot, stem rot and powdery mildew. Climbing vines on homes can cause damage if not monitored.
