English Ivy is a fast-growing woody evergreen vine that can climb or trail to great distances.  It has two stages: the Juvenal stage with the lobed dark green foliage that spreads or climbs aggressively, and the Adult stage where the foliage becomes lobe-less and no longer spreads, instead putting up small umbels of white flowers in fall followed by black berries.  Grows best with some shade and moist, well-drained soil.

NOTE: Very aggressive spreader that is listed as invasive in Georgia.
