Mini Penny hydrangea is a reblooming dwarf deciduous shrub that produces blooms on new and old wood in summer.  It has serrated medium green leaves with no fall color.   The lacecap flowers bloom color depends on the soil PH - acidic soils produce pastel blues while alkaline soils produces pastel pinks.  The flowers attract butterflies.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  Minni Penny has excellent resistance to powder mildew and other foliage diseases.
