Tuff Stuff Hydrangea is a compact hardy deciduous shrub with a tidy habit of upright stems and rich green wilt-resistant leaves. The panicle clusters flowers color depends on the PH of the soil- in acidic soils the flowers will be purplish while alkaline flowers will be bright pink. Its a repeat bloomer with the first bloom on old wood in early summer and the second late in summer on new wood. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
