Shamrock Inkberry is a compact native evergreen shrub with a rounded habit and lightly toothed bright green leaves.  A female holly that if pollinated, produces inky blue-black berries that can persist well into winter.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
