Steeds Upright Japanese Holly is a densely branched upright evergreen shrub with flattened dark green leaves reminiscent of boxwood.  If pollinated, the tiny white flowers give way to ornamental black fruits  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
