Leatherleaf Mahonia is a upright evergreen shrub with distinct dark green spiny pinnate compound leaves. Clusters of fragrant yellow flowers bloom in spring and are followed by highly ornamental powdery blue fruit clusters. Best in part sun and moist well-drained soil.
