Loblolly Pine is a tall fast-growing conifer tree native to the southeast noted for its straight trunk with furrows and lack of lower branches after maturity. The stiff 5-10” dark yellow-green needles come in bundles of threes and the sharply spined oval cones appear in groups of 2-5. Grows best in full sun with slightly acidic and moist soils.
