Fingerleaf Rodgersia is a bold basal-clumping rhizomatous perennial with hairy stalks and large , heavily pleated palmate foliage emerges bronze and matures to bronze-tinted rich green. Red hairy flower stems sporting large airy panicles with fragrant pink flowers bloom in summer. The stem color may fade as the flowers fade to white. Grows best with part shade and rich, consistently moist well-drained soil.
