Item added to cart!

Hens and Chicks is a mat-forming evergreen succulent with thick fleshy foliage that grows in rosettes.  The mother rosette (hen) spreads out with horizontal stems to seed offsets (chicks).  An infrequent flowerer that may take years to bloom, but when it does will put up a thick stalk sporting clusters in summer. The hen dies after flowering, giving space for the chicks to grow.  Best color with full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils.  Drought and heat tolerant once established.

There isn’t much known about the Brown variety, so if you try it tell us what you think!
