Ochlockonee Rabbiteye Blueberry is an upright spreading deciduous shrub with a high chill requirement but high production of large firm sweet blueberries.  The elliptical dark green foliage turns shades of glossy red in fall. The white flower clusters bloom in spring. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils.  Ochlockonee has excellent resistant to disease and pests, notably, stem canker.  While able to self fruit, Ochlockonee should be planted with others to cross-pollinate to increase yield.
