Lipstick Autumn Sage is a long-blooming native heat-loving herbaceous perennial with dark green foliage. The masses of tall spikes covered with two-lipped cherry-red flowers from spring until frost are highly attractive to hummingbirds.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Very drought tolerance once established
