Royal Standard Hosta is a shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for their foliage.  The large narrow oval basal leaves are bright medium green with a satiny sheen and distinctive veining.  The extremely fragrant bell-like white flowers raise up in terminals from the pale green rootstalk above the mound in mid-summer attracting butterflies and pollinators.  Best color in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
