Zebra Cactus is a slow-growing evergreen succulent with thick upright fleshy foliage with a slight curve and distinct white ribbing.  The dark green leaves can gain pink hues when stressed by cold or eggplant to bronze hues when stressed by sun.  The clumps freely offsets.  A long arching stalk go up in spring sporting tiny white flowers.  Thrives in filtered sun and dry, well-drained soils.  Not suited for indoors.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  It can be propagated by mature leaves of cuttings.  Water deeply then let soil completely dry before watering again.  Do not water as much in summer when it goes dormant, instead increase watering in winter.
